OA Sashes are a ceremonial part of the uniform and are worn only for OA events. They are the most obvious sign of a scout's membership in the Order of the Arrow as well as the scout's level of membership. The sash is worn across the body and with the arrow pointing up over the right shoulder.
Order of the Arrow members in Paoli 1 only wear their sash at the Troop Auction, Family Dinner, Memorial Day Parade, the Birthday, and Camp Horseshoe.
- Ordeal members wear just a plain white sash with a red arrow.
- Brotherhood members wear a sash with two red bars in front and behind the arrow.
- Vigil members wear a sash with an additional red triangle in the center of the arrow in addition to the two bars of Brotherhood.
