The Eagle Project is listed as the fifth requirement for the rank of Eagle, but it is the most noteworthy. The planning, execution, and completion of an Eagle Project is the capstone of a scout's career, a momentous accomplishment. The Scout must plan, develop, and provide leadership to others in a service project of his choice that assists any religious institution, school, or other community group. (The project should benefit an organization other than Boy Scouting.) A project proposal must be approved by the organization benefiting from the effort, the unit leader and unit committee, and the council or district before the project can begin.
Paoli 1 Eagle ProjectsEdit
Paoli 1 holds higher standards for its scouts and the Eagle Project is held as the highest. Many Eagle Projects consist of more than two full weekends of work and total several hundred man-hours.
