The following introduction is given by the scout to the Board Examiners before his Board of Review officially begins. The scout climbs the stairs from the basement, marches across the floor to the American Flag, salutes, about-faces, and then marches to his assigned table. The scout then salutes the Board Examiners and says:
"Sir(s), (rank and name) of the (patrol name) reports to be reviewed on the requirements of (merit badge(s) and/or rank)."
E.g. "Sir, Second Class Scout Jeffery Thompson of the Eagle Patrol reports to be reviewed on the requirements of First Aid Merit Badge and First Class."
The Board Examiners will then return his salute and the scout may take his seat for the Board.
